Michael Tibbett Obituary (1947 – 2022) – Spokane, WA

Mike was born on December 12, 1947 to Oscar and Ann Tibbett and passed away on February 27th, 2022.

He was born and raised in Spokane Washington and worked for URM as a warehouseman and was also a member of the Teamsters Local 582. Mike would later purchase the Country Place Tavern that he owned for several years. He lived in Spokane most of his life and bought property in Colville next to his good friends where he would eventually build his home and retire.

Mike loved the outdoors. Whether he was hunting, UTV riding, snowmobiling, road tripping with a friend, or just hanging out by the campfire, you could always count him in. He loved his cat Callie and would sneak away from camp to make sure she was okay while he what away

Mike was a hard worker and perfectionist that many of us admired. He was always looking at his watch and loved to point out and poke fun at anyone who wasn’t on time. He was very independent but always there to give a helping hand when needed. He will truly be missed by all of us that had the honor of knowing him.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Ann, and his brothers Pat and John.
