Seattle police arrested a man who attacked someone with a wrench and threatened him with a gun.

Authorities say a man was driving through South Lake Union near Westlake Avenue and Roy Street when the suspect stopped next to him and started throwing things on his car. According to the SPD, victims and suspects had a history.

The man followed as the victim stopped a short distance away. Then he got out of his car and threw a wrench at the victim, who hit him in the leg.

Police say the victim went back to his car to grab a tire iron and the suspect told him to take it off and fight hand in hand with him.

The suspect then pulled out his gun.

The scuffle ended when the suspect drove away and the victim called 911. The officers then found the suspect driving into a nearby parking garage and arrested him.

The suspect was sent to King County Jail for assault and intimidation with a gun.
