Man pulled from burning car after striking bridge on Everett Turnpike in Nashua, NH – Boston News, Weather, Sports

NASHUA, NH (WHDH) – A man was pulled out of a burning car and rushed to a hospital Monday afternoon after crashing into a bridge in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Crews responding to reports of a car crash with fire on Exit 2 south of Everett Turnpike just before 3 p.m. found a Buick Encore that had crashed into a concrete bridge abutment below Exit 1 issued by the fire department, according to a press release.

A middle-aged man had already been taken out of the car and is said to have been critically injured.

The Special Hazards Unit was called in to stem the flow of vehicle fluids

The crash is still being investigated.
