That being said, the Angels have two real MVP candidates who deal with CF. Mike Trout and DH / RHP Shohei Ohtaniand the 2019 NL MVP in 3B Anthony Rendon, whose statcast metrics suggest it is up for an outbreak.

Run line / Against the Spread (ATS)
Bundy is LA’s ace and despite his high ERA, he has a lower FIP and his exit speed and hit rate are far better than the MLB average.
Additionally, Statcast rates Bundy in the 94th percentile of Chase%, the 92nd percentile of the fastball spin rate – which is huge since the four-stitched fastball is the most commonly used fastball – and the 76th percentile of the expected WOBA.
The LA lineup’s advanced hit numbers against left-handed pitching have also been mediocre this season so far, but the Angels have drilled Sheffield on both starts against them in 2020.

CONSIST Overall, I like the Angels lineup against Sheffield, but these teams are a combined 2-7 O / U with these two starters on the hill and we’re betting on the LA running line, in part due to the expectation that Bundy will get off to a good start .
