Lenox Girls, Boys Clean Up at Home / iBerkshires.com
LENOX, Mass. — The Lenox girls and boys cross country teams Wednesday dominated on their home course, taking three dual meets apiece and more than half of the top 10 individual places in a five-team meet.
For the girls, Alice Culver led the way with a time of 20 minutes, 15.49 seconds, a minute and 44 seconds ahead of runner-up and teammate Elyssa Scrimo. Genevieve Collins and Jessie Scrimo placed third and fourth, respectively, for the Millionaires before Monument Mountain’s Rae Geddes broke up Lenox’s party with a fifth-place showing.
Geddes helped the Spartans win their only dual meet of the day, against Mount Everett.
Wahconah’s girls also picked up a win, topping Hoosac Valley behind a seventh-place finish from Natylee Martin.
Lenox’s boys once again were led by the duo of Maxwell Adam and Dennis Love, who finished just two seconds apart in first and second places. Adam crossed the line at 16:33.61.
The first non-Lenox boy across the finish line was Monument Mountain’s Everett Pacheco in third place. Wahconah’s Riley Gladu was fifth to help his squad pick up a duel win over Hoosac Valley.
