Lawrence Rochon Obituary (1933 – 2022) – Everett, WA

Lawrence Gordon Rochon July 27, 1933 – March 17,2022 Surrounded by those who loved him, Larry (Lornie) passed peacefully to his eternal life on Thursday, March 17 in Sun City West, Arizona at the age of 88. He was a giant of a man to all who had the pleasure of knowing him and sharing in his delightful and sometime colorful sense of humor. His one-liners will have been quoted and remembered by many for years to come. He was a snowbird at the time of his passing and joyfully divided his time between his Arizona and Washington homes. He loved his life in Arizona with his wife Peg as well as his time spent with his children in Everett. The memories and stories are too many for this small space. He leaves behind his loving wife, Peg and his adoring children, Laurie (Doug), Joe (David), Jeff, Kathleen (Vickie), Diane (Scott), Duane (Robyn), Eddie (Arthur), is-a-be daughter, Saada (Bob), Step-Children Steve(Mariel), John(Canda) and Jennifer(Mark). The legacy continues with grandchildren; Johnny (Heather), Nathan (Sarah) and Spenser (Katrina). He was great grandpa to Zoie, Adeline, and Ryker as well as numerous extended grandchildren by marriage and by love. He leaves his brothers Leonard (Lena), Jimmy (Peggy), sisters Mary (Tom), Carol (Dennis), sisters-in-laws Mary and Joan along with abundance of nieces and nephews. He was greeted in heaven by his beloved wife of 49 years Adeline, his two infant children, his parents Leona and Henry, brothers, and sisters-in-laws Ray (Dolly), Charlie, Ron (Bev), and Yvette. His friends were uncountable. He touched the lives of all who crossed his path. He will be missed. He will be talked about. He will watch over us. God willing and two sailors, we will see him on the other side. Vigil for The Rosary will be Thursday, 3/31/22, 7:00 pm at Solie Funeral Home, 3301 Colby Ave. Everett. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, 4/1/22, 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2619 Cedar St. Everett. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest with Adeline at 1:00 pm at Cypress Lawn, 1615 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett. July 27, 1933 – March 17, 2022
