If You Want A 4th Of July Parade In Everett Next Year – Join This Committee

Thousands lined the streets for the last 4th of July Parade in 2019.

Yesterday was a great day for 4th of July celebrations in Everett, Washington. But for many, one thing was missing. The 4th of July parade through downtown Everett. Canceled due to the Pandemic for two years, this year it didn’t happen because the City of Everett didn’t have money available in the budget. Earlier this year we told you a committee has been formed to try and put together a parade next year and moving forward.

Here’s a message received from former Everett City Council member Scott Bader on their needs

While we weren’t able to have an Everett 4th of July parade this year, a small committee is already working on plans for 2023. At this time, we are interested in finding sponsors, as we estimate it will cost anywhere from $10-$20 K to cover expenses (including such things as security, barricades, and port-a-potties). If you are interested in becoming a parade sponsor for a 2023 Everett 4th of July parade, please contact us at: [email protected] and we will send you additional information. Others who are interested in volunteering to help can also indicate their interest at that email address.
