High School football jamboree at Everett Alvarez canceled Friday due to COVID-19

Everett Alvarez High School announced that their soccer jamboree was canceled on Friday night due to COVID-19 concerns. According to the school’s athletics department, “The soccer jamboree is being canceled because the soccer ball needs to be quarantined. Eagles Athletics would like to remind everyone to be safe, practice safe protocols and wear a mask whenever possible. ”Two more teams were scheduled to attend this now canceled event. It was North Salinas and Rancho San Juan. The upcoming duel between the Everett Alvarez Eagles and San Luis Obispo has also been canceled. The football jamboree is a preseason game hosted by various schools in Monterey County. A second jamboree at Salinas High School is due to take place this evening.
