The most recent storm to hit the Pacific Northwest brought flood warnings, the closure of a major mountain pass, school closings and icy roads.

Heavy rain and snowmelt caused flooding in western Washington and Oregon as the youngest atmospheric river entered the region.

In Vancouver, Washington, some streets in the neighborhood have been flooded due to a combination of rain and rain drainage issues, KATU television reported.

On Thursday there were flood warnings and flood monitoring until Friday.

Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass in the Cascade Mountains in Washington state was closed on Thursday due to high avalanche danger, zero visibility and blowing snow.
