Governor Inslee visits Spokane and Okanogan counties on Wednesday | Coronavirus

SPOKANE, Wash. – Governor Jay Inslee visits Spokane and Okanogan counties September 29.

Governor Inslee will first visit the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center to participate in a panel discussion with healthcare workers about the ongoing effects of COVID-19 on the healthcare sector.

The governor will then travel to Methow Valley to attend a series of meetings with local elected officials, business owners, health care workers and the local fire department to discuss climate-related fires and forest fire smoke conditions.

The governor will end the day with a tour of Sun Mountain Lodge to view the damage caused by fire and speak to business owners who have seen economic repercussions in the area.
