Foo Fighters announce new Minneapolis show following COVID policy disagreement – Everett Post

Foo Fighters announced a new show in Minneapolis after the originally scheduled date was canceled due to “the original venue’s refusal to agree to the band’s COVID security measures”.

Dave Grohl and the company will now meet the Twin Cities on August 3 at US Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings NFL team.

Following the cancellation of the originally announced show that was scheduled for the Huntington Bank Stadium on August 3rd, the Foos said, “We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to find a suitable replacement – one that is good for everyone’s health and safety The show gives priority to those who work and who are present. “

At previous Foo Fighters concerts, visitors were required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test.

Along with the new Minneapolis show, the Foos have also announced a second performance at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, on May 18, after the first May 16 date sold out.

Ticket sales begin on Friday, December 10th, at 10 a.m. local time. All ticket information can be found on FooFighters.com.
