Fire Destroys Back Yard Building In Central Everett

Just before 4:00 PM Everett Firefighters were called to the 2400 block of Columbia in central Everett to reports of smoke and flames coming from a large garage-shed behind a home.

Smoke could be seen from several blocks away.

Neighbors were using garden hoses to try and keep the fire under control and stop it from spreading to an outbuilding on a neighboring property.

Engine 5 was first on scene and got a good knock down on the fire.

Crews were able to contain the blaze to the shed and keep it from any other structures.

An investigator with Everett Fire is on the scene working to determine a cause. There were no injuries.

Here are a few photos from the scene.
