• Infinium Spirits is moving its headquarters from Orange County, California to downtown San Diego. The company’s new home base is in the heart of the city’s Gaslamp Quarter, at 5th and Market. Infinium, a subsidiary of the Underwood family’s Young’s Holdings, saw the skrewball peanut butter whiskey brand increase over the past year, which more than tripled to nearly 600,000 cases in 2020, according to Impact Databank. The portfolio includes Seagrams Vodka, Corralejo Tequila, Crystal Head Vodka, Zaya Rum, Torres Brandy and Tears of Llorona Tequila.

• Molson Coors will officially launch the Topo Chico Hard Seltzer on March 29th. The Topo Chico Hard Seltzer, a spin-off of the popular Topo Chico mineral water brand, will contain Tangy Lemon Lime, Exotic Pineapple, Strawberry Guava, and Tropical Mango flavors and will be retailed in 12-can single-variety packs as well as individual 24-ounce packs. and 16 ounce cans. It will initially be in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas and six metro areas including Boston, Chicago, New York, northern New Jersey, Seattle / Vancouver, Washington and Washington DC debut

• Opus One Winery in Napa Valley has named Scott Gould as vice president of national sales and marketing. Gould will be responsible for the strategic growth and positioning of Opus One and Overture in the US. Most recently, he served as Director of Bond for the Harlan family and previously held a number of executive positions at Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group.
