Everett’s Iseminger no-hits Tussey Mountain | Local

ALTOONA — Everett’s Calvin Iseminger threw a no-hitter as the Warriors rolled past count foe Tussey Mountain, 10-0, in six innings at PNG Stadium, Monday afternoon.

Iseminger struck out 12 and allowed only two baserunners, both in the first inning on a walk and an error.

The Warriors’ offense was strong as well, scoring 10 runs on 10 hits. Sid Grove had two hits, two runs, and three RBIs, while Jadin Zinn had three hits and three RBIs. Kason Hinish had two hits and two runs scored.

Everett is at McConnellsburg for a 6 pm game on Wednesday. Tussey is at Juniata Valley on Wednesday.

Tussey Mountain 3, Windber 1

WINDBER — Tussey Mountain got a strong pitching performance from Connor Jones and some timely hitting to help the Titans in a 3-1 win over Windber in a five-inning game shortened by bad weather, Friday.

Jones threw a complete game with three strikeouts and only five hits and one walk.

The Titans opened up with two runs in the first inning. Ben Kormanski had a one-out triple and scored on a single by Landon Myers. Myers later scored for a 2-0 lead.

Jones added an RBI single in the fourth for a 3-0 lead.

Windber scored with two outs in the fifth. Windber got a single, a double, and another single that brought in a run, but Jones got a pickoff to end the game.
