WARFORDSBURG — Everett captured the last 2 games to break a tie and lift the Warriors to a 25-19, 14-25, 25-17, 25-16 victory over Southern Fulton, Monday.

The Lady Warrior were led by Bailey Simons with 15 service points and McKenna Richards with 14 and 6 aces. Marissa Hillegas had 19 kills and 3 blocks, while Karma Chalfant had 20 assists and Saige Williams added 15 digs.

Everett will be the sixth seed for District 5-A playoffs and will be at Berlin Brothersvalley on Thursday.

LOYSBURG — Northern Bedford won the first game, but Central came back to win the next 3 games in a 20-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-23, Monday.

“We played a much better, more intense game tonight than we have in a while,” said Northern Bedford coach Shalonne Sipes. “Lizzie Long played a great game on her senior night. It was good to see the girls get their fire back, and I’m hoping that carries over into the playoffs.”

Madison Miller led NBC with 12 kills, while Lindsey Bolinger had 10 assists and Lacy McIlnay had 8. Dani Imler had 12 digs and Lainie Sipes added 10.

The Lady Panthers, 12-6, are the fifth seeds for the District 5-A playoffs and will be at Tussey Mountain on Thursday.
