Everett Sine – Dominion Post

Everett Arnold Sine Jr., 79, of Fairview, died on July 8, 2021 at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

He was born at home in Jakes Run on September 8, 1942, to the late Everett A. Sine Sr. and stepmother Ruth and Ellen Summers and stepfather Wesley Carl Jarvis.

On December 27, 1963, he married Betty Lou Shriver, who preceded him in death on May 22, 2021.
He was a retired miner from the Loveridge Coal Mine in Fairview. In the late 1960s he was a police officer in Monongalia County. At a young age he was a former truck driver who mainly transported cattle. He loved riding horses and buggies.

He leaves behind the children Joseph Everett Thompson and his wife Nicki from Alabama, Betty Jo Little Woodling from Texas, Everett A. Sine III and his mate Beth Lewis from Jakes Run, Bobbie Jo Sine from Morgantown and Edward A. Sine and wife Ysuara from Jakes Run; Grandsons, Ashley, Brittney, Steven, Reno, Kristina, Alex and Dheaglan; Great-grandchildren, Tristan, Sophia, Aubrey, Scarlet, Kayden, Nasir, Kristopher, and Takota; Sister Carla Rogers and her husband Larry of Morgantown; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Bailey and husband Roger; Brothers Jack Wayne Sine, Kenneth Kyle Sine, and Charles Lloyd Jarvis; and a grandson, Tommy.
The family will meet friends at the Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant St. in Fairview – Monday, July 12th, 5:00 pm-8:00pm and Tuesday, July 13th, 1:00 pm-1:00pm. The funeral will take place at the funeral home Tuesday, July 13, at 3 p.m., with Joyce and Rob Bennett officiating. He is buried in McCurdysville Cemetery.
