CLOCK PROGRAM FOR HOLIDAY CRIME

Volunteer Citizens do a valuable service by checking the homes of residents who are out of town. Volunteers inspect enrolled homes several times a week to make sure all entrances are secure. When something unusual or suspicious is found, patrol officers are called in to investigate.

A program requirement is that all inquiries must be at least three days. (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday) The following residences are not eligible for this program:

  • Apartments
  • “For sale” houses
  • Commercial real estate
  • Homes and vacant houses
