Everett Police Arrest Suspect In Fatal Hit And Run Of Patricia Oman

Broadway was closed between Gale Place and 52nd Street for the investigation.

We will get more information in the morning but Everett Police have confirmed that a woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit and run that happened on August 15th in the 5400 block of Broadway.

On August 15th 80-year-old Patricia Oman was walking along Broadway when she was struck by a vehicle. Witnesses reported the vehicle was driven by a woman who left the scene. Ms. Oman was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center in critical condition and died from her injuries four days later.

This afternoon Everett Police located the woman they believe is responsible in a vehicle in central Everett and took her into custody. She’s been booked into the Snohomish County Jail without bond on two felonies.

She is expected to make an appearance at a probable cause hearing in Everett District Court tomorrow afternoon.
