Tuesday August 2nd is the annual National Night Out. In Everett, Washington there are events planned in several neighborhoods.

National Night Out is a community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live.

While the Pandemic put a damper on National Night Out celebrations the last couple of years, more neighborhoods in Everett are joining back into the event with ice cream socials, barbecues and other activities. You’re encouraged to get together with friends and meet neighbors you don’t yet know.

Here’s a list of the neighborhoods that have signed up with the City of Everett.

Editor’s Note: If you don’t see an event in your neighborhood, you can visit one of those listed above or just reach out to your neighbors and introduce yourself. The best crime prevention is neighbors knowing and watching out for each other. LD
