The Everett Fire Department was able to prevent multiple car fires from spreading and damaging 1818 Jackson House on Pacific Avenue early Thursday morning.

At around 2:00 a.m., Snohomish 911 received a call from a car fire outside the building. The arriving engine company found two burning vehicles outside, and the fire spread to a third.

They called for a commercial fire brigade and were able to contain the fire on the parked vehicles. Other crews checked that there were no extensions to the building or garage. No residents were evacuated and there were no injuries. At the time of this writing, the cause of the fire was under investigation.
