Everett Drobner Obituary (1927 – 2022) – Selkirk, NY

Drobner, Everett C. SELKIRK Everett C. Drobner passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2022. He was born on December 28, 1927, the son of the late Arthur and Florence Drobner. He was raised in Hudson and went on to live in Greenport and Easton before settling in Selkirk in 1939. Everett was a graduate of the Ravena Coeymans High School. He served in the US Army from 1950-1952 during the Korean War. Everett was a mechanic for the Cedar Hill Garage, Zaken’s Garage and then retired from HS Vincent & Son after 30 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union 294. Everett is survived by his loving wife, Helen V. Drobner; children, Susan (Jack) Stratta, and Arthur (Joanne) Drobner; grandchildren, Christos (Casey) Jones, Sarah Curro, Kaitlyn (Stephen) Scholer, Stephen Drobner, and Andrea Drobner; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Everett was predeceased by his brothers, Randall Drobner, Daniel Drobner, and Kenneth Drobner; and sister, Ardell Kolb Hughes. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 16, in the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Selkirk. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service starting at 10 am Donations in memory of Everett may be made to the First Reformed Church of Bethlehem, 38 Church Road, Selkirk, NY, 12158.
