Felony arrests

kidnapping — Joshua Devan Alves, 29, of the field by Lava Lanes, Medford. He was arrested by Ashland Police Thursday for first-degree kidnapping, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and misdemeanors. Alves is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $150,000 bail.

Assault — Bryan Douglas Crandall, 38, of the 2300 block of Kamerin Lane, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Thursday for fourth-degree assault pertaining to domestic violence and a misdemeanor. Crandall is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $12,500 bail.

eluding — Kirk Michael Hernandez Jr., 33, of the 7700 block of Northeast 138th Court, Vancouver, Washington. He was arrested by Oregon State Police Thursday for two counts of attempting to elude police by vehicle and misdemeanors. Hernandez was bailed out of the Jackson County Jail.

coercion — Abram Sassenberg, 41, no reported address. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday for coercion, unlawful use of a weapon and a misdemeanor. Sassenberg is being held in the Jackson County Jail for a $20,000 bail.

Burglary — Michael Paul Wagner, 46, no reported address. He was arrested by Medford Police Thursday for second-degree burglary and misdemeanors. Wagner is being held in the Jackson County Jail for a $24,500 bail.
