Everett – Duncan McPherson Moffat, 84, of Everett, May 3, 2022 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley (DeTillio-Sacramone) Moffat. Loving father of Donna Greene and her husband Tim of Tewksbury, John Sacramone and his fiancé, Liz White of Peabody, and Ralph Sacramone and his wife, Elaine of Everett. Adored grandfather of Justin Sacramone and his partner, Patrick Barajas of Philadelphia, PA, Timothy Greene Jr. and his wife, Nicole of Londonderry, NH, Alexandra Greene and her fiancé, Hayley Finegold of Londonderry, NH, and Jenna Sacramone and her husband Alexander Lomakin of Beverly. Great grandfather of Timothy Greene III of Londonderry, NH. Brother-in-law of Connie Moffat of New York, sister-in-law, Marion Duragano of Malden. Predeceased by parents, John and Mary Moffat- Russell, stepfather Bill Russell, brothers John Moffat and Bill Russell, sister and brother-in-law, Shirley Mahoney and Dan, sister and brother-in-law, Mary Tingdahl and Arnold, sister and brother-in-law, Helen Earle and Obie. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
U.S. Army Veterans. Longtime employee of the City of Everett Water Department and Eastern/Trump/US Airlines.
Funeral will be held from Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main Street, Everett, MA on Tuesday May 10th at 9 am followed by a 10 am Funeral Mass at St. Anthony’s Church 38 Oakes St., Everett, MA. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at Rocco and Sons Funeral Home 331 Main Street, Everett, MA, Monday, May 9th from 4 to 7 pm Complimentary valet parking at the Main Street entrance. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
