Death of 14-year-old Florida boy ruled a homicide – Everett Post

(FLORIDA) – The death of a 14-year-old Florida boy whose body was found last week has been classified as murder by local police.

Ryan Rogers of Palm Beach Gardens was found dead near an Interstate 95 overpass on November 16, around 9 a.m. local time, by a passerby who saw the boy’s bike lying on the grass.

“We now know that the death of Ryan Rogers was not an accident, but a deliberate act,” said Palm Beach Gardens police on Wednesday.

WPBF, a subsidiary of ABC West Palm Beach, reported that an autopsy on Saturday revealed that Rogers’ death was not due to a bicycle accident.
