CVCC announces partnership with automotive dealership | Local Business News

CVCC Foundation Chairman David Sain, who has played a key role in securing the partnership between CVCC and Everett Chevrolet GMC Buick Cadillac, is excited about the potential for both sides to benefit from this affiliation.

“I was thrilled to be putting together the first dealership sponsorship for our program with Everett Chevrolet GMC Buick Cadillac here at the Workforce Solutions Complex,” said Sain. “You did great things for us. They provide us with cars to work on. If they’re not brand new, they’re six or eight months old. You have hired several of our mechanics. We have a great partnership that is going very well. I am very excited that we have this relationship with the Everett family. “

Everett Chevrolet GMC Buick Cadillac, based at 161 US 70 SE in Hickory, will also provide new parts and general support for all training areas, as well as the potential for future automotive curricula at CVCC.

“We’re so excited about everything that’s going on here at CVCC’s Workforce Solutions Complex,” said Dave Everett, vice president of Everett Chevrolet GMC Buick Cadillac. “We want to do everything we can to help the community, including businesses and people in the community. We just think this goes well with CVCC and us. We are very excited and we have the privilege to be a part of it. “

Ed Jenkins, director of services at Everett Chevrolet GMC Buick Cadillac, said this new partnership helped the dealership by hiring knowledgeable CVCC graduates.
