Crews put out a bushfire in downtown Spokane | news

Spokane police say they are currently looking for two teenagers who may have started the fire.

The fires are out and there is no danger to the public.

SPOKANE, Washington. – Spokane County firefighters quickly put out a bushfire in downtown Spokane after a piece of bushes and shrubs caught fire outside the Spokane Police Building on Sprague and Browne.

Authorities are also reporting another fire just a few blocks from Sprague and Browne. Both fires have been extinguished, but the crews remain on site to ensure that no other fires have started from the ashes.

It is unclear what caused these fires at the time. KHQ is on site and is working to gather more information.
