Coahoma senior second baseman Christian Everett signed a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday with the Concordia Texas softball program at NCAA Division III school in Austin.

Everett helped guide the Bulldogettes to a 33-5-1 record and an appearance in the Class 3A state championship game during her junior season in 2022.

Everett garnered 2022 Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 3A all-state honors and is a two-time All-District 5-3A first team selection.

Known for her speed, Everett hit .398 with 14 stolen bases and 33 runs scored during her junior year, which earned her a spot in the 2022 TGCA All-Star Game for lower classification schools.

She inked with a Tornados program that went 14-23 overall and was 11-19 in conference in the 11-team American Southwest Conference last year.

Everett, who ranks in the top 10% academically of her class, plans to study psychology and eventually communication science and disorders at Concordia University. Her long-term plan is to pursue a career in speech pathology and work for a children’s hospital.
