Child summer meal programs are opening up for Snohomish, Monroe, Everett


Children’s summer menus are opened in our area

SNOHOMISH COUNTY – Summer meals through the school districts ensure that no child goes hungry.
In Snohomish, the Kids’ Café summer breakfast and lunch program is free for teenagers 18 years of age and younger in the Snohomish area. Kids just have to show up and enjoy a great meal. The children’s café takes place from Monday to Friday and lasts until Friday, August 27th.
Take-away breakfast is also offered for the next day at the following locations:
Three Rivers Mobile Home Park, 13201 Elliott Rd., 11: 15-11: 30 a.m.; Snohomish Aquatic Center, 516 Maple Ave., 12:10 PM -12: 25 PM; Circle H Mobile Home Park, 6413 123rd Ave. SE, 12:45 pm-1:00pm; Snohomish Mobile Home Park, 1330 Avenue D, 11: 20-11: 40 a.m.; Snohomish High School, 1316 Fifth St., 11:50 am -12: 05 pm; and Valley View Middle School, 14308 Broadway Ave., 12: 20-12: 35 p.m.
The Snohomish Boys and Girls Club, 402 Second St., will have breakfast from 8:30 am to 9:00 am and lunch from 11:50 am to 12:05 pm
In Monroe there are free meals for teenagers up to 18 years of age until September 3rd (no service on July 5th).
Frank Wagner Elementary School, 115 Dickinson St., 11:30 am to 12:30 pm; Fryelands Elementary School, 15286 Fryelands Blvd. from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Maltby Elementary, 9700 212th St SE from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Everett School District offers a free roadside grocery pick-up service every Wednesday between July 7th and August 4th; Eisenhower Middle School, 10200 25th Avenue SE; Gateway Middle School, 15404 Silver Firs Drive; Heatherwood Middle School, 1419 Trillium Boulevard SE at Mill Creek; and North Middle School, 2514 Rainier Ave.
People are given food packages
