Caroline Barker Everett Obituary – TheTimesNews.com

Mrs. Caroline Barker Everett of Mebane, NC passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Hospice home. A native of Caswell County, Mrs. Everett was the daughter of William Odell Barker and Ruby Yarbrough Barker, both deceased. Mrs. Everett worked in the hosiery industry, Warren Drug, and retired from the retail store Peaches & Cream. Caroline will be remembered as a woman who always put the needs of others before her own, expressing her love in a variety of ways. She loved doing yard work and tending to her flowers, cooking for everyone at the funeral home, and attending her church, Mebane United Methodist Church. Mrs. Everett had a place in her heart for all these things, but none surpassed the love she had for her family. She spent as much time as she could practicing being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed nothing more than her trips to White Lake and the beach.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Everett was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence M. “Frog” Everett, and her sister, Ester Perkins.

Caroline is survived by her children, Judy Hall (Allan), and Teresa Hodder, her grandchildren, John Hall (Diana), Jennifer Hall Allred (Dwayne), Stephen Hodder (Courtney Riley), Nelson Fagan, Katherine Everett (Carlos Mata), great-grandchildren, Mason Allred, Riley Allred, Abby Hall, her sisters, Louise Coley, Phyllis Barker (Van), Diane Yarbrough, her brothers, Alan Barker, Robert Barker (Doris), and Frank Barker (Linda), sister-in -laws, Rachel Monk, and Lois Everett, her grandson adopted, Jeff “Tucker” Lipscomb and many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, beginning at 11:00AM, at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends anytime at the home of Judy and Allan Hall.
