Carly Pearce takes the time to share the spotlight with her sister.

During a recent show in Indiana, Carly brought her sister Christy, a National Guard captain, on stage to honor her before serving overseas in Kuwait.

In an Instagram post, Carly shared a pair of photos from the “special night” that she proudly showed with her arm around her sister and another of the two lovingly hugging.

“What a beautiful moment for someone I admire and love so much. We also jointly observed a minute’s silence for the devastating loss our country suffered in the past week and cheered all the men and women who served in the crowd, ”writes the singer. “Cristy, thank you for your service. I love you and I’ll miss you, but I’m so damn proud of you. “
