Boston Police Arrest Man in Roxbury Fatal Stabbing – NECN

Boston police arrested the man they claim stabbed another man in the Roxbury neighborhood last weekend.

The Boston Police Homicide Squad took Drayvon Robinson, 36, of Everett into custody at around 3:30 p.m. Friday at Boston Police Headquarters in connection with Ricardo Garcia’s knife stab on August 8th.

The officers responded to a call following a person who was stabbed to death just after 8:30 a.m. in the Pierson Street and Massachusetts Avenue area last Sunday. Upon arrival, police located Boston Garcia, 34, who had an apparent stab wound. Garcia was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.

Homicide investigators investigating Garcia’s death identified Robinson as a suspect in the case. The investigators have not uncovered a possible motive for the fatal shootout.

Robinson is expected to be tried in Roxbury District Court at a later date. It is unclear whether he hired a lawyer.
