Ballots For Feb 8th Everett – Mukilteo School Levies Should Be In Hand

Snohomish County’s auditors mailed out the ballots for the Feb. 8 special election. Here’s what you need to know about voting in the election.

Both the Everett and Mukilteo schools have voting policies.

8 Feb. Special election pamphlets for local voters are on their way to every household in Snohomish County. Ballots were mailed Thursday to Snohomish County’s registered voters eligible to vote in the election. Voters should receive their ballot papers no later than Wednesday 26 January.

All school districts in Snohomish County have at least one tax and/or bail action on the ballot, with the exception of Arlington and Lakewood school districts. Voters in these two districts do not receive a ballot. Fire District 15 will also have a voting measure in the election.

Voters have until Monday, January 31 to register online or by mail, or to update an existing registration. After January 31, voters can continue to register or make updates and vote in person until 8 p.m. on election night, Tuesday, February 8, at the Auditors Office or at an accessible voting venue during designated hours.

Most ballot boxes are open to accept ballots. Check the list to make sure the box you want to use is open. The locations of the mailboxes can be found at www.snoco.org/elections and are printed in the local electoral brochure.

In addition, voters can mail their ballots back through the US Postal Service. Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, February 8th. Check the last pickup time on the box if you’re shipping them on Election Day.

Snohomish County Elections has accessible voting machines for voters with disabilities and offers last-minute voter registration and ballot distribution in Everett.

Voters who require in-person service are required to maintain social distancing and wear face coverings in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines. Voters are encouraged to use online resources at www.votewa.gov and www.snoco.org/elections.
