The Spokane Symphony kicks off in 2022 with a full calendar of events in January and beyond.

Spokane Symphony Pops: Pink Martini

Pink Martini, “the little orchestra” from Portland, returns to the Martin Woldson Theater at Fox on January 29th at 8:00 pm to perform with the Spokane Symphony on January 29th. Spokane Youth Orchestra: Get creative

All four Spokane Youth Symphony Orchestras – the Spokane Youth Strings under the direction of John Marshall, the Spokane Youth Sinfonietta under the direction of Jerilynn Harris, the Spokane Youth Philharmonic under the direction of Roberta Bottelli, and the Spokane Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Philip Baldwin – will give a concert at 4 p.m. January 30th.

The concert will also be broadcast live. More information is available at www.spokaneyouthsymphony.org. Tickets: USD 18 for adults, USD 16 for seniors, and USD 14 for children 17 and under. Livestream access costs $ 20 per household.

Family month at the Fox

Throughout January, the Fox Theater is offering: Buy one, get a free ticket to the following Fox Presents: National Geographic Live Events: “The Secret Life of Bears” (January 26th), “Untamed” (March 9th ) and “Improbable Ascent”. “(May 18).

In “The Secret Life of Bears” the carnivore ecologist Dr. Rae Wynn-Grant to give a talk on bear behavior. Wynn-Grant hopes that better understanding will enable humans and carnivores to live together peacefully. The event starts on January 26th at 7pm.
