Annie Everett Obituary (2022) – Albuquerque, NM

Annie Kate Eloise Everett

Annie Kate Eloise Everett passed

away on August 19, 2022 after a sudden and unexpected illness. Annie was born in Rio Rancho, NM just two months ago on June 7th. She was 7 lbs. and 4 ounces of pure perfection. Annie was lovingly welcomed by her entire family after much eager anticipation. Her grandparents, aunts and uncles all remember how excited they were to learn a new addition to the family was on the way. But there was none more excited than her mom and dad, and her big brother and sister. She made their family complete. From the day she was born she brought such a calming presence that inspired those around her to slow down and savor every moment. She was a sweet baby, deeply adored by everyone she met, and even by those who hadn’t met her yet. Her two short months were the most beautiful days of her family’s life. From the peaceful moments spent napping under the trees in her Mamaw & papaw’s backyard, to her California beach vacation with all of her cousins. Even the quiet routine moments of those newborn days were absolute bliss. Annie’s brief time on this earth was full of unforgettable moments that her family will cherish forever. Annie was admitted to Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque just days before her passing. Her incredible team of doctors, nurses, and medical professionals worked tirelessly to diagnose her sudden onset of symptoms, and discovered that she had an extremely rare condition called

Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). This life-threatening disease is very aggressive and very difficult to diagnose because of how little is still known. Annie’s family asks that everyone educate themselves more on HLH in order to help spread awareness which will hopefully prevent other family’s from enduring this tragedy in the future. Annie is survived by her parents; Bradley and Jaycee Everett, her big brother Layton and big sister Lucy. Her grandparents; Terry and Rena Everett, AC (Adrienne) Quintero, Challine (Sean) Haselman. Her great-grandparents, DW Baxter, Gerald and Elaine Whitehead, Augustine Quintero. Her aunts and uncles; Brittany Everett, Bailey Everett, Julian Quintero, Jilliann (Devon) Collinge, Jordan (Tara) Quintero, Jessica (Chis Vergara) Haselman, Jarrett (Erin Dawson) Quintero, and Jarrell Quintero. my cousins; Ella, Joleen, Clifford, Brycelin, Estelle, Kora, Kaden, Cohen, Kaylee, and Juliana. As well as many more cousins, aunts, and uncles who love her dearly. She was welcomed in heaven by her great-grandmas, Kathy Baxter and Petra Quintero. A celebration of life was held August 27 in the Garden at Annex Church in Corrales. In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe has been setup to help the family during this time.
