Everett Police are investigating a shooting on Airport Road in south Everett early Friday morning. Just before 5am, a vehicle pulled into AM / PM on 112th and Evergreen Way and the driver reported that their passenger had been shot.

Everett Police Spokeswoman Kerby Duncan told MyEverettNews.com that the victim was transported to the Providence Regional Medical Center by a medical unit with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

He says the preliminary investigation suggests two people in the victim’s car at 7-11 on Airport Road and Highway 99 got into some kind of argument with people in another car. Both vehicles were traveling north on Airport Road and shots were fired from the second vehicle into the first vehicle to hit the passenger.

The victim vehicle drove into the AM / PM and the alleged vehicle fled. Investigate patrolmen and detectives. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Everett Police Tip Line at (425) 257-8450.
