“The Caterpillar Who Wasn’t: A children’s story about the miracle of metamorphosis”: a delightful and informative children’s tale. “The Caterpillar Who Wasn’t: A children’s story about the miracle of metamorphosis” is the creation of published author Allene Carol Holland, MEd, a retired elementary teacher, special educator, and elementary school literacy specialist. Holland has two grown sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and two grandsons. She currently lives in Vancouver, Washington, with her husband of forty years, Jack.
