An 83-year-old man from the Everett area is looking for his mint condition F-250 truck from 1997 after it was stolen earlier this week.

Dori asks the Superintendent, who decides the sincerity of faith?

Les Mann has been the Commercial Sales Director at Bill Pierre Ford on Lake City Way for nearly three decades. As a camping enthusiast, he has owned his Ford truck for 17 years but woke up Tuesday morning to find it had been taken off his driveway.

He describes the truck itself as a “family member”.

“I miss this truck – it has so many memories,” he told KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson Show. “It’s like one of your friends is dying of you.”

It’s unclear how the thieves managed to get away with the vehicle, although Les believes this is mainly because “Ford and GM have the distinction of having some of the simplest cars” when it comes to older models.

But despite all of this, he still managed to stay positive.

“It’s very hard to reconcile, but when you think about it – what I’ve been doing for the past few days – it’s a truck; it’s not a person, ”he remarked. “The Lord knows what’s best for you, and if he wanted me to lose this truck, I’ll go along with whatever he wanted to achieve in my life.”

Right now he’s asking that everyone in the area he lives near Monroe Elementary School in Everett look out for a two-tone gold and white Ford F-250 truck with aluminum wheels and a large chrome strip on the side (Picture above). ).

“[It’s] the last design of this year – it will be the last of this model, ”he added. “I’ve always loved it and that’s why I’ve held onto it for so long.”
