7 rescued, 1 missing after Boston Harbor boating accident – Everett Post

(BOSTON) – Seven people were rescued and one person is still missing after a boating accident in Boston Harbor early Saturday.

At around 3 a.m., a center console boat with eight people on board hit a day mark, “which put all eight in the water,” said the US Coast Guard.

Officials responded to the incident and seven people were rescued, five of whom were hospitalized by Boston EMS, Boston Fire said.

The names and ages of the recovered boaters have not been published.

An inter-agency search for the missing boat driver is now underway.
