In addition to serving up delicious food and views, the restaurant gives back. They founded the Big River Grill/Jesse Gross Memorial Scholarship, which allows local students to pursue further education.

The restaurant refers to their cuisine as Northwest-style pub fare and the menu features offerings like red wine beef stew, fish and chips, and a series of elaborate hamburgers.
