While we all look forward to the annual Farmers’ Markets, the season is looking a little late this year. Normally, they operate May through October. With May 1st falling last Sunday, coupled with a very cool, wet April, crops are also slightly behind. Many are now planning on opening in June.
However, do not be disturbed. There are quite a few debuting this week, leading into Sunday, May 8th, just in time for that annual Mother’s Day excursion. A sampling include:
Miller’s Produce at Carleton Farms – Open Daily Monday-Saturday, from 10:00am – 6:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am – 5:00pm They are at 630 Sunnyside Blvd SE, Lake Stevens.
